FACIAL MESOTHERAPY
Originally reserved strictly for medical use, mesotherapy is now employed for aesthetic purposes. It aims to revitalise the face, moisturize and fill fine lines. A mixture of antioxidant vitamins, trace elements and hyaluronic acid is used to coat the face.
In a way, mesotherapy consists of placing the active anti-ageing principles normally contained in your creams directly in the dermis.
Treatment
The treatment is performed under topical anesthetic with EMLA® cream. A mixture of liquid hyaluronic acid and antioxidant vitamins is deposited by tiny multiple pricks with a special cannula over the entire area of treatment.
Duration of treatment
Face, neck, cleavage and the back of the hands are treated in 3 sessions with intervals of 15 days, followed by a maintenance session every 4 months. The sessions take 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the area to be treated.
Result
The skin is rehydrated, and will look firm and radiant again. The antioxidant effect of the vitamins is of long-term interest in the prevention of skin ageing if the sessions are repeated regularly. Small papules and some haematomas may appear in places for a short time (2 to 3 days).
